Pearland Parks and Recreation Center

In April 2009, the City of Pearland began construction on a new recreation center and natatorium on the corner of Bailey and Veterans Drive. This project is a partnership between the City of Pearland, Pearland ISD, and the PEDC. The opening of this facility is scheduled for September 2010. This facility project includes a 106,000 square ft. facility which will include a recreation center and a natatorium.
The recreation center includes a gymnasium, weight and cardio room, children's and youth rooms, racquetball courts, dance and aerobics room, a multipurpose room, kitchen, locker rooms, cycling room, and a second story indoor track. The natatorium will include a 50 meter pool, 2 three meter diving boards, 2 one meter diving boards, and a warm up pool with a zero depth entry.
